Visual inspection is the basic and most used inspection method for detecting defects and deviations in product shape. This inspection should always precede any other non-destructive inspection. Direct visual inspection: carried out with the naked eye or by using simple optical aids. Indirect visual inspection: carried out using optical instruments, cameras, cameras, burettes and endoscopes.
